Sefi was founded by Shaun in Melbourne to solve a simple problem: homeowners want to know they’re hiring real, qualified tradies for their property. Existing platforms charge tradies thousands for leads without actually verifying who they are. Sefi flips that — tradies prove they’re real, homeowners verify it directly.
We believe trust should be earned through transparent verification, not paid for through lead-generation fees. Before a tradie’s profile goes live, we verify their identity and ABN, verify their trade licence where one is required, and record their insurance — a certificate on file, or the cover they’ve declared — with expiry tracking.
We’re not a lead-generation platform. We don’t charge tradies per quote, per lead, or per job. Tradies pay a flat annual or monthly subscription to maintain their verified status, and that’s it. Homeowners pay nothing.
